Wedding Day Direction Service

Our primary focus for our wedding clients is on logistics, scheduling and the coordination of the Ceremony, music cues with musicians, sound reinforcement for the ceremony as needed, and overall timing. We know music, and very often our clients hire us to cover this aspect of the wedding as well as our other services. We can help you choose the musical selections for your ceremony and reception. In short, we work your wedding so you don't have to.

We bring extreme planning to the table, as well as the intuition of just knowing when everything is absolutely in place and ready that comes from producing social events large and small. We are present when everyone is looking for a strong but calm and nurturing leader or someone in charge. Like a stage director, our job is to make sure everything and everyone is working as planned. We consult with you before and during the wedding ceremony, and during the reception to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Our responsibilities can include the following:

Planning

1. Consultation to coordinate every detail of the ceremony and reception.
   
2. Recommend and contract vendors as needed.
   
3. Establish a wedding day schedule to keep the day on track.
   
4. Review final details two weeks prior to the event date.
   
5. Provide schedule information with vendors.
   

Music Design

1. Music is often the most difficult choice in planning a wedding because while you may not know exactly what you want, you absolutely know you do not want a really cheesy band. As musicians ourselves, we will with you to create the vibe you want for your wedding celebration. Whether you want a hip, unique or different, traditional, ethnic, elegant or garden atmosphere, we can find the perfect music match for your personality.
   

Direct Ceremony and Reception

1. We arrive hours prior to the ceremony to supervise the set-up and make necessary adjustments.
   
2. Direct vendors to the proper locations, and be on hand to answer any questions.
   
3. Meet with Officiate to go over schedule and cues.
   
4. Review with the wedding party individual responsibilities, positioning and timing.
   
5. Ensure ushers have seating plan.
   
6. Coordinate start time and cues for processional /recessionals.
   
7. Ensure Groom & Groomsmen are in their positions.
   
8. Line up parents & grandparents to be escorted.
   
9. Ensure Bride & Bridesmaids are in their positions.
   
10. Organize the processional line and spacing.
    

Cocktails & Reception

1. Direct bridal party to photo area.
   
2. Relocate musicians, if needed.
   
3. Troubleshoot and be on hand to answer any questions.
   
4. Work with catering on schedule of events.
   
5. Discreetly direct guests to their tables.
   
6. Coordinate Grand Entrance of bridal party, if desired.
   
7. Ensure time line for the rest of the Reception is on track and will run smoothly.
